Double Head Heating Tube

Product Description

Tubular heating elements are the most versatile industrial heating solution for a large number of applications. Lantronix's tubular elements are factory configured to virtually any shape or size. We can customize bend diameters upon request and can manufacture a variety of industrial heating solutions such as flanged tubular heaters. Tubular heaters are typically made from steel, stainless steel, Incoloy, Inconel, or titanium alloys. Tubular elements are often considered the foundation of all heating elements. These heating elements have a rugged outer jacket that helps protect the process heater from physical stresses and use high quality alloys for efficient heat transfer from the resistance coil to the heating medium.

Depending on their rating, jacket and shape, tubular heaters can be used in a variety of industrial heating applications (conduction, convection, radiant heating) that require process temperatures up to 750°C (1,382°F) to heat liquids, gases and solids. Choose from a variety of diameters to adjust the power density in your application and design your industrial heating products for optimum performance and long life. Standard and customized terminal pins are easy to install and maintain. We use high quality magnesium oxide for efficient heat transfer from the resistance coil to the heating medium, whether air, liquid or solid. The bend radius is carefully designed to maximize performance while meeting the "form fit and function" of your application.

available in nickel-plated brass for field mounting on 0.375", 0.430", and 0.475" diameter elements.

Factors to Consider

Please consider the following factors to select the ideal tubular element/tubular heating element for your application:

  Heating element power density

  Sheath material (corrosive or non-corrosive)

  Product temperature

Degree of aeration of the application

  Air velocity within the application

  Ambient temperature

Moisture resistant junction box available:

  actory installed

can be pre-drilled in the junction box upon special request. This allows for easier field tubular installation.

Components may require fittings to connect to the junction box.

Component Clamps

The two-piece stainless steel clamp shown at right on

an be used as an element holder in an oven or tank.

Use half clamps that weld studs to the tank or plate to accommodate clamping applications.

  Available "C" sizes: 1 1/4″, 1 7/16″, 1 5/8″and 1 15/16″.

Mounting Brackets

We can crimp standard mounting brackets to the element to aid in mounting.

can configure special brackets for your element.
